About the artist
Monique Sakellarios has been an artist all her life. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, she was educated at Leonardo DaVinci School of Art in Cairo. She then attended the American University in Cairo, developing her own unique style. "Having studied the human figure and focused on portraiture early in my career, I have since developed my own unique style of landscape painting. Red and purple are my favorite colors!"
