About the artist

With my paintings I attempt to capture the beauty of the Coastal Landscape. Living on the east coast, I am surrounded by salt marshes, harbors and beaches. These are the inspiration for my paintings and I hope to capture a little of this magic on my canvases.

 

Most of my paintings originate from “plein air” studies I complete on location. These studies are the source material for my larger studio paintings. My goal with all my work is to capture the emotional impact the scene has on me and hopefully share that with the viewer.
